Aston Neighbourhood Team

Residents of Aston and Newtown, 

Your Officers have been busy of late working in partnership with the Birmingham Community Safety Partnerships Team  in order to tackle Fly Tipping  within the area and identifying those responsible. On Monday 18th May 2026, we conducted our joint patrol which was successful. 

We have also been involved in Operation Sceptre  visiting secondary schools and academies - with the aims and objectives of reducing Knife Crime and raising awareness amongst young people, about the dangers of carrying knives and other bladed weapons.

I would also like to wish Aston Villa Football Club, good luck in tonight's  Europa Cup final against Freiburg.
